Asset Management Services:

  • Extend Productive Use – Track, relocate, audit, inventory, and reutilize IT assets.

  • Preserve IT Currency: – Exploit and enhance OEM warranty provisions. Monitor firmware releases, patch updates, and engineering changes. Use disciplined processes to update IT systems from deployment to retirement.

Data Destruction Services:

  • Clearing (Overwriting) – Using current tools and processes, preserve media for reuse while meeting industry data destruction standards.

  • Purging – Use degaussing to remove data and destroy hard drives.

  • Physical Media Destruction – Shred, pulverize, or hole-punch to destroy storage media and contained data.

  • Types of Physical Media:
    Disk drives, Optical disk platters, Tapes, Cell phones, Solid state devices.

  • Documentation – Provide certification of media destruction data to guarantee the unwanted systems and the contained data is properly disposed of. Data Vista provides a Certificate of Data Destruction (CODD) to attest to destruction of data from media.

  • Onsite or Offsite Destruction – Perform data destruction on-premises or via secure transportation to offsite facilities.

Recycling

Our Goal:

Provide equipment disposal options to include selling, re-marketing, re-purposing, recycling, or donating equipment assets. We alleviate the customer’s responsibility to properly manage asset disposal when equipment reaches the end of its life.

  • Recover value from retired assets

Information Technology Asset Disposition Services:

  • Disposal Services – Establish Business Processes – Prepare, perform, assess, and monitor IT recycling.

  • Compliance – Maintain environmental certifications with regulatory agencies. Self-audit document and implement corrective action.
